Castrol Power1 4T 10W-30 is a premium engine oil formulated for current-generation four-stroke motorcycle engines. Its Power Release Formula is designed to flow quickly and cut internal power losses to friction, helping the engine hold power through to high operating rpm, with Castrol testing showing improved acceleration on throttle pick-up.
Castrol's Trizone Technology means the one oil is engineered to look after the three areas a motorcycle engine oil has to serve: engine, clutch and gearbox. That makes it suited to wet-clutch bikes running a shared sump, and it meets the requirements of catalyst-equipped engines.
This is the 4 litre pack, carrying API SL and JASO MA-2 ratings. Check your owner's manual to confirm 10W-30 and the required specification before use.

- Before use, check your owner's manual to confirm the bike calls for a 10W-30 grade meeting API SL and/or JASO MA-2.
- Suited to wet-clutch motorcycles with a shared engine, clutch and gearbox sump thanks to the JASO MA-2 rating.
- Drain the old oil while the engine is warm (not hot) so it flows out fully, and take care of hot components and hot oil.
- Replace the oil filter and the sump plug sealing washer at each oil change, and torque the sump plug to the figure in your service manual.
- Fill to the level and by the method your manual specifies, then check on the dipstick or sight glass with the bike upright — do not overfill.
- After filling, run the engine briefly, switch off, let the oil settle, then recheck the level and inspect for leaks around the plug and filter.
- Follow the service interval in your owner's manual; shorten it for track use, frequent short trips or very dusty conditions.
- Store the bottle sealed and upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and keep contaminants such as water and dirt out of the oil.
- Wear gloves to avoid prolonged skin contact and wash off any splashes; keep away from children and pets.
- Never pour used oil down a drain or onto the ground — take it to a council waste facility or workshop that accepts waste oil for recycling.
