Cardo Packtalk Pro Motorcycle Mesh Intercom - Single

The Cardo Packtalk Pro is Cardo's flagship motorcycle communication unit, supplied here as a single pack for fitting one helmet. The slimline, antenna-free housing snaps on magnetically via the patented Air Mount, and pairs 45mm speakers by JBL with second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication so groups stay connected and conversations stay clear at highway speeds.

It is built for riders who would rather the intercom looked after itself. Built-in crash detection works with the unit's sensors, the Cardo Connect app and the Cardo cloud to raise an alert if something goes wrong, Auto On/Off manages power around stops, and Natural Voice operation means you can keep your hands on the bars and simply say "Hey Cardo".

The matte black, IP67-rated body handles rain, dust and mud, making it well suited to touring, commuting and group riding. It also talks to intercoms from other major brands, and updates over the air so no cables are needed to stay current.

Install the Cardo Connect app and register the unit before your first ride — the app is used for pairing, settings, audio profiles and crash detection setup.
Charge the unit fully before first use, and top it up periodically if it will be stored unused for long periods.
The unit supports charging while riding, so a USB power source on the bike can keep it topped up on longer days.
Keep the software current using over-the-air updates through the Cardo Connect app; no cable connection is needed.
Choose the microphone to suit the helmet: the hybrid/boom microphone for open-face and modular helmets, the wired microphone for full-face helmets.
Clean the adhesive and clamp mounting area of the helmet with the supplied alcohol pads and let it dry fully before fitting the Air Mount; allow adhesive plates to cure before riding.
Use the supplied speaker booster pads to bring the 45mm speakers closer to your ears if the helmet has deep speaker pockets — this improves clarity without raising the volume.
The unit is IP67 rated, so rain, dust and mud are fine; wipe it down with a soft damp cloth afterwards and avoid solvents, petrol-based cleaners and pressure washers.
Make sure the charging port cover is properly seated before riding in the wet, and dry the port before plugging in a cable.
Remove the unit from the magnetic Air Mount and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when the bike is parked for extended periods.
Check the helmet mount and speaker positions periodically for security, and do not attempt to open the sealed housing or replace the internal battery yourself.
