The Cardo Packtalk Neo is Cardo's slim, antenna-free flagship headset, supplied here as a Duo twin pack with two complete units — suited to a rider and pillion, or two riders who always set off together.

It combines 2nd generation Dynamic Mesh Communication with Sound by JBL audio and natural voice operation, so you can group up, take calls and stream music without taking a hand off the bars. The mesh network re-forms on its own as riders drop out of range and rejoin, which suits touring groups, off-road convoys and anyone riding in changeable conditions.

The housing is waterproof and the unit charges quickly between legs, making it a practical choice for long days, wet weather and multi-day trips.

Charge both units fully before the first ride, then use the Cardo Connect app to register the units and set up your rider group.
Use the app for over-the-air software updates so both units in the Duo pack run the same version — mismatched versions can affect mesh grouping. Updates can also be applied by USB cable.
Operate hands-free by saying "Hey Cardo" followed by your command; set your preferred JBL audio profile in the app to suit helmet type and riding speed.
Fit the speakers into the helmet's ear pockets so they sit directly over your ears — poor speaker placement is the most common cause of thin or quiet audio.
Check the helmet mount (clamp or adhesive) is firmly seated and that cables are routed clear of the helmet's edge and visor mechanism before riding.
The unit is IP67 waterproof and can be ridden in rain, mud, dust or snow; dry the housing and the charging port with a soft cloth before plugging in a cable.
Wipe the unit and speakers with a lightly damp cloth only. Avoid solvents, petrol, cleaners and compressed air near the microphone and speaker mesh.
Use the 20-minute fast charge during fuel or coffee stops to add roughly 2 hours of talk time on long days.
Keep the unit within its -20°C to 55°C operating range and avoid leaving it on the helmet in direct sun or in a hot vehicle.
For long-term storage, charge the battery partially, switch the unit off and keep it in a cool, dry place; top the charge up every few months to preserve battery health.
