Cardo 2nd Helmet JBL Audio Kit for Packtalk Neo

The Cardo Packtalk Neo 2nd Helmet Kit is a complete audio and mounting kit that lets you set up a second helmet for your existing Packtalk Neo unit. Instead of pulling speakers, microphone and mount out of one helmet every time you swap lids, you leave a permanent install in each and simply move the Packtalk Neo unit across.

It uses the same Sound by JBL 40mm speakers as the original kit, so music, navigation prompts and intercom calls sound identical no matter which helmet you reach for. Both a boom microphone and a wired microphone are supplied, along with clamp and adhesive mounting options, so the kit suits full-face, modular and open-face helmets.

This is an accessory kit only — a Cardo Packtalk Neo unit is required and is not included.

Choose the mount to suit your helmet: use the clamp mount where the shell edge allows a secure grip, or the adhesive glue plate on helmets with no suitable lip.
Clean and dry the helmet shell where the glue plate will sit before fitting, and let the adhesive cure fully before mounting the unit or riding.
Seat the 40mm speakers directly over your ears in the helmet's speaker pockets — packing them too deep or off-centre is the most common cause of thin or quiet sound.
Use the boom microphone with open-face and most modular helmets, and the wired microphone with full-face helmets where the boom cannot be routed.
Position the microphone in front of your mouth, close to the chin bar or cheek pad, and keep it clear of direct airflow to reduce wind noise.
Route and tuck the speaker and microphone cabling under the helmet lining so it is not pinched by the cheek pads or pulled when you fit the helmet.
Slide the Packtalk Neo unit off its mount before removing helmet liners for washing, and never machine-wash the speakers or microphone.
Wipe the speakers, microphone and mount with a lightly damp cloth only — avoid solvents, petrol, cleaners and alcohol-based products on the mesh and cabling.
Allow the kit to dry naturally after wet-weather riding rather than using a heat gun or hair dryer.
When the Packtalk Neo unit is off the helmet, store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight, and keep its firmware current through the Cardo Connect app.
