Cardo 2nd Helmet JBL Audio Kit for Packtalk Bold

The Cardo Packtalk 2nd Helmet Kit lets you run one Packtalk unit across two helmets. The audio hardware stays permanently fitted in your second lid, so you simply move the Packtalk module across and ride — no unpicking speakers and microphones every time you swap helmets.

It's the practical choice for riders who own a road helmet and an adventure or track helmet, or for a pillion who rides in their own helmet. The kit carries the same 40mm speakers with Sound by JBL as the main unit, so audio quality is consistent whichever helmet you're wearing.

Check the fit before committing: dry-fit the speakers and cradle in the helmet and confirm the Packtalk module clears your visor and neck roll before using the adhesive plate.
Use the clamp mount where the helmet shell edge allows it, and the adhesive glue plate on helmets with no suitable lip — the clamp is the easier option to remove or reposition later.
Clean and dry the helmet shell thoroughly before applying the adhesive plate, and leave it to set undisturbed before hanging the unit on it.
Position the speakers directly over your ear canals inside the helmet's ear pockets; if they sit too far forward or back, volume and clarity drop noticeably.
Fit the boom microphone on the side of the chin bar for open-face and flip-up helmets, and use the corded microphone inside the chin bar of a full-face helmet.
Keep the microphone in front of your mouth and clear of the chin curtain for the best voice pickup at speed.
Route and tuck the speaker and microphone cabling under the helmet lining so nothing is pinched by the cheek pads or dragged when you remove the helmet.
Wipe the speakers, microphone and mount with a lightly damp cloth only — avoid solvents, petrol-based cleaners and soaking, and never machine-wash the components.
Allow a wet helmet to dry fully before storing it, and store the helmet somewhere cool and dry rather than leaving the fitted kit in direct sun.
Keep the module's contacts and the mount clean and free of grit so the unit seats squarely each time you swap helmets.
