Ensure the motorcycle's ignition is off and the circuit is de-energised before removing or fitting the bulb.
Verify your vehicle's electrical system runs at 6V before fitting — installing a 6V bulb in a 12V system will cause immediate failure.
Handle the glass envelope with a clean cloth or gloves; skin oils can create hot spots on incandescent glass and shorten globe life.
Align the BA15S pins with the socket slots, press in and rotate a quarter-turn clockwise until the bulb locks in place.
After fitting, test the indicator function at both the switch and visually before riding.
If the bulb fails prematurely, check the socket for corrosion, loose contacts, or incorrect voltage — address the root cause before fitting a replacement.
