The BS Battery BSLI-02 is a 12.8V 2Ah (24Wh) LiFePO4 lithium battery built as a direct, lighter replacement for common small-capacity powersports batteries. It delivers 140 CCA for confident starting on motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and other small-capacity machines that would normally run a CTX4L, CTX5L-BS, CTX7L or CTZ7S type battery.
Lithium iron phosphate chemistry means substantially less weight than an equivalent lead-acid battery, very low self-discharge and a long cycle life, so a bike left standing for weeks is far more likely to fire up. An integrated voltage indicator lets you check state of charge at a glance, and the sealed, multi-position case suits tight or unconventional battery trays.
Supplied charged and ready to fit. Ships as UN3480 Class 9 dangerous goods, so some freight restrictions apply.

- Check the physical size (107 x 56 x 85 mm), terminal type and polarity against your existing battery before fitting — this is a small-capacity battery suited to machines running CTX4L, CTX5L-BS, CTX7L or CTZ7S type units.
- Use only a charger with a lithium/LiFePO4 setting. Lead-acid, gel, AGM, desulphation and pulse-repair modes can damage a lithium battery and must not be used.
- Do not attempt to add acid, water or electrolyte — the battery is sealed and supplied ready to use.
- Connect positive first and negative last when fitting; disconnect negative first when removing. Tighten the brass terminals firmly but do not overtighten, and use the correct-length bolts so they cannot contact internal components.
- The case can be mounted at any angle up to 180 degrees, which is useful in tight trays — but it should still be secured so it cannot move or vibrate against surrounding components.
- Use the built-in voltage indicator to check state of charge periodically, particularly before and after long periods off the bike.
- Self-discharge is very low, but for extended storage remove the battery or disconnect the negative lead, store it somewhere cool and dry, and top it up with a lithium-compatible charger if the indicator shows a low state of charge.
- If the bike is left with a parasitic drain (alarm, tracker, clock), disconnect the battery or use a lithium-suitable maintenance charger rather than letting it run flat.
- Wipe the case and terminals with a dry or lightly damp cloth and keep terminals clean and free of corrosion. The case is a waterproof design, but avoid pressure washing directly at the battery or terminals.
- Do not open, crush, pierce, expose to naked flame or continue using a battery that is swollen, leaking or physically damaged. Recycle end-of-life batteries through an approved battery recycling point.
- As a UN3480 Class 9 lithium product, keep the battery in its packaging until fitting and observe dangerous goods rules if it is transported or returned.
