The Bridgestone Battlecross X31 is a motocross front tyre built for medium (intermediate) terrain — the mixed, moderately loose surfaces that make up most Australian MX tracks and enduro loops. This listing is for the 80/100-21 51M front size, the standard front fitment for full-size motocross and enduro machines.

Compared with the tyre it replaces, the X31 lifts traction, braking, cornering grip, bump absorption and block durability, while widening the range of conditions it works in. The front carcass uses an asymmetric block pattern with optimised block placement to sharpen turn-in feel and braking bite, and it pairs with the matching X31 rear for a balanced set.

Have the tyre fitted by a qualified motorcycle tyre fitter using correct tyre levers and rim protection; forcing beads can damage the carcass.
Fit a new tube every time you fit a new tyre, and check the rim lock and rim tape are in good condition and correctly tensioned.
Observe the rotation direction and any fitment markings moulded into the sidewall so the front block pattern faces the correct way.
Re-check and re-torque the rim lock and valve stem nuts after the first ride, as the tyre can settle on the rim.
Set cold tyre pressures to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommendation and adjust for track conditions; check pressures before every ride with a quality low-pressure gauge.
Scrub in a new tyre with a few easy laps before pushing hard, so the surface release agent wears off and the blocks bed in.
After each session, wash off mud and grit with water and a soft brush; avoid petrol, solvents, brake cleaner or tyre shine products, which attack the rubber.
Inspect regularly for cut, torn or rounded-off blocks, cord exposure, sidewall damage and punctures, and replace the tyre once the blocks are worn or damaged.
Store spare tyres flat or upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and oils or chemicals.
