- Check tyre pressure cold before every ride; always refer to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommended pressures for this tyre size — do not rely on the maximum pressure moulded on the sidewall.
- Allow a break-in period of at least 100 km of normal road riding, progressively increasing lean angles and load so the compound reaches its optimal working temperature before pushing hard.
- Have the tyre mounted, bead-seated and balanced by a qualified tyre technician using appropriate rim-safe equipment — improper fitting can damage the bead or cause air loss.

- Inspect the tread, sidewalls and bead area before each ride for cuts, cracking, embedded objects or abnormal wear patterns.
