The Battlax Racing Street RS11 sits at the top of Bridgestone's street-legal Battlax range. It is a road-tuned development of the Battlax Racing R11 slick used on circuit, so the emphasis is squarely on dry grip, cornering stability, steering response and the feedback the tyre sends back through the chassis.
This listing is the 200/55ZR17 (78W) rear in tubeless construction, the fitment used by many current litre-class hypersport machines. It replaces the RS10, which was original equipment on a number of flagship sports bikes.
It suits riders who spend their weekends on tight, winding roads and their occasional weekday at a track day, and who want a noticeable step up in dry performance over a sport-touring or all-round tyre such as the S22. Sold individually, not as a pair.

- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using proper machinery; tubeless tyres require an undamaged, tubeless-compatible rim and a serviceable valve, and it is good practice to replace the valve at the same time.
- Fit the tyre so the rotation direction marking moulded into the sidewall matches the wheel's direction of travel.
- Scrub in new tyres over the first ride or two: build up lean angle, braking and throttle progressively until the release agent and moulding sheen are worn off the full width of the tread.
- Run the cold inflation pressures specified by your motorcycle manufacturer for this fitment, and check them with an accurate gauge when the tyre is cold, before riding.
- Allow the tyre to come up to temperature before pushing on. Grip is reduced when the tyre is cold, and this is a dry-focused compound, so wet and cold-weather performance is more limited than an all-round sports tyre.
- Inspect regularly for cuts, embedded objects, bulges, uneven or squared-off wear, and sidewall damage. Replace the tyre when the tread reaches the moulded tread wear indicators or the legal minimum depth, whichever comes first.
- Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush, then rinse and dry. Keep tyre dressings, silicone shine products, solvents, fuel and chain lube off the tread and sidewalls.
- If the bike is stored for an extended period, keep it out of direct sunlight and away from electric motors and other ozone sources, and either raise the wheels off the ground or move the bike periodically to avoid flat spotting.
- Do not exceed the load or speed capability marked on the sidewall, and do not repair or continue to ride on a tyre that has been run flat, punctured in the sidewall or shoulder, or damaged in a crash — have it assessed by a tyre professional.
