The Battlax Racing Street RS11 is the flagship of Bridgestone's Battlax street range — a road-legal, street-tuned adaptation of the company's Racing R11 track compound. It is built for riders of hypersport and supersport machines who want track-level grip and feedback from a tyre they can ride to the circuit and home again.
This is the 190/55ZR17 (75W) rear in tubeless radial construction. It is the rear fitment that first brought Bridgestone's V-MS Belt casing — previously reserved for non-DOT race rubber — to a road tyre, paired with a 3LC multi-compound tread for cornering stability and contact feel at high lean angles.
The RS11 succeeds the RS10, which was original equipment on numerous flagship sportsbikes. Its tread pattern and compounds are weighted towards dry-weather sports riding, so it rewards a proper warm-up and suits fast road and track-day use rather than cold or wet commuting.

- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician — this is a tubeless radial and must be mounted on a rim rated for tubeless use.
- Ride conservatively through the initial run-in period so the mould release agents wear off and the tread surface scrubs in evenly before you use full lean angle or hard acceleration.
- Check and adjust pressures when the tyres are cold, using the pressures specified by your motorcycle's manufacturer; recheck at least fortnightly and before any long or fast ride.
- Warm the tyre up progressively before pushing on — the compounds are weighted towards dry-weather performance and offer less grip when cold.
- Take extra care in wet, cold or greasy conditions, and increase your margins accordingly.
- Inspect the tread and sidewalls regularly for cuts, embedded objects, bulges or uneven wear, and have any damage assessed professionally before riding.
- Replace the tyre once the tread wear indicators are reached, or earlier if the profile has squared off or the edges are worn from track use.
- Do not fit an inner tube unless the wheel and tyre combination is approved for it, and do not exceed the tyre's load or speed rating.
- Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, solvents, fuels and electric motors that generate ozone.
- After track sessions, allow the tyre to cool naturally, then re-check pressures and inspect for tearing or blistering.
