The Bridgestone Exedra G722 is the rear tyre in Bridgestone's Exedra 700 series, developed for large-capacity cruisers and American-style motorcycles. The white wall sidewall suits classic and retro builds where the tyre is part of the bike's look rather than just a consumable.

Bridgestone positions the Exedra 700 series around long mileage, straight-line stability, easy handling and ride comfort — the qualities that matter most on longer sealed-road runs. This 180/70-15 fitment is the original equipment rear tyre for the Kawasaki VN900B, so it is a direct replacement for riders keeping their machine to factory specification.

It is a rear-specific, tube-type tyre and should be paired with a matching front tyre and a new tube at fitting.

  • Rear-specific cruiser tyre from the Bridgestone Exedra 700 series
  • White wall sidewall for classic and retro cruiser styling
  • 180/70-15 M/C size with 76H load and speed rating
  • Tube type (TT) construction — requires a tube, not for tubeless use
  • Original equipment fitment on the Kawasaki VN900B
  • Exedra 700 series tuned for long mileage and straight-line stability
  • Developed for the weight and power of large American-style cruisers
  • 1 x Bridgestone Exedra G722 180/70-15 rear tyre (tube not included)

  • Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician — this is not a job for tyre levers in the shed.
  • This is a tube type (TT) tyre: fit a new, correctly sized inner tube and check the rim band at every tyre change. Do not run it tubeless.
  • Scrub in the new tyre gently for the first 100 km or so, avoiding hard acceleration, heavy braking and deep lean angles until the release agents have worn off the surface.
  • Check and adjust pressures when the tyre is cold, using the pressures specified in your motorcycle's owner's manual or on the swingarm/chain guard placard.
  • Re-check pressures at least weekly and before any long ride; under-inflation causes overheating, rapid wear and poor handling.
  • Stay within the tyre's 76H load and speed rating, and account for pillion and luggage weight when loading the bike.
  • Inspect regularly for cuts, bulges, embedded objects, uneven wear and sidewall cracking, and replace once the tread wear indicators are reached or at the legal minimum tread depth.
  • Fit a compatible front tyre and avoid mixing worn and new or dissimilar tyres front to rear.
  • Clean the white wall with mild soap and water and a soft brush; keep petrol, brake fluid, chain lube, degreasers and tyre shine dressings off the tread and sidewall.
  • Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, solvents and electric motors, which generate ozone that degrades rubber.
  • After any puncture, have the tyre inspected internally by a professional — do not rely on an external plug repair.
