The Bridgestone Exedra G852 is the radial rear tyre for the 200/55R16 fitment used on the 2018-on Honda Gold Wing GL1800, supplied as a single tubeless tyre.
It is aimed at riders of large full-dress tourers and cruisers who cover long distances, often two-up or loaded, where straight-line stability and even wear matter as much as outright grip. Bridgestone combines a touring-oriented rubber compound with a tread pattern intended to maintain contact and predictable handling in both dry and wet conditions, with high mileage as a design priority.
Rear tyre only, sold individually. Confirm the size and load/speed rating specified for your motorcycle before ordering, and have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified technician.

- Have the tyre fitted, balanced and inflated by a qualified tyre technician using motorcycle-specific equipment — do not attempt a home fitment.
- Being tubeless, it must be mounted on a rim rated for tubeless use, with a serviceable valve; replace the valve or valve seal at every tyre change.
- Fit in the direction of the rotation arrow moulded on the sidewall.
- New tyres carry a slick mould-release finish: ride gently and avoid hard acceleration, heavy braking and full lean angles until the surface has scrubbed in.
- Check and adjust inflation pressure when the tyre is cold, using the figure specified in your motorcycle's owner's manual or placard — not the maximum pressure moulded into the sidewall.
- Do not exceed the load and speed ratings; the rated load applies only at the recommended pressure, so increase pressure as advised by the manufacturer when riding two-up or fully loaded.
- Inspect regularly for cuts, bulges, embedded objects, sidewall damage and uneven or cupped wear, and replace before the tread wear indicators are reached.
- Clean with mild soap and water only; keep petrol, solvents, chain lube and silicone-based tyre dressings off the tread and sidewalls.
- Have any puncture assessed by a professional before further riding, and treat aerosol sealants as a temporary get-home measure only.
- Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and electric motors, which generate ozone that degrades rubber.
