The Bridgestone Exedra Max is a radial cruiser tyre developed primarily for large Japanese cruisers, where long-distance stability, ride comfort and predictable handling matter more than outright sportiness. This listing is for the 240/55VR16 86V rear fitment in tubeless construction.

Bridgestone pairs the Exedra Max's casing construction, tread pattern and rubber compounds to balance comfort, mileage and wet and dry grip for modern cruiser machines. It suits riders covering serious highway kilometres two-up or loaded, as well as everyday commuting on a heavyweight cruiser.

Please confirm the size, load and speed rating against your motorcycle's owner's manual or tyre placard before ordering.

  • Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using equipment suited to wide radial tubeless tyres.
  • Fit only to a rim in sound condition that is rated for tubeless use and matched to this size; do not fit a tube unless the tyre and rim manufacturer approves it.
  • Observe the direction-of-rotation arrow moulded into the sidewall when fitting, and fit a new valve and valve core with every new tyre.
  • Do not mix radial and cross-ply tyres on the same motorcycle, and follow your motorcycle manufacturer's guidance on front and rear tyre pairing.
  • Set cold inflation pressure to the figure specified on your motorcycle's tyre placard or in the owner's manual, and re-check it cold at least fortnightly and before long rides.
  • Scrub the new tyre in gently for the initial running-in period, avoiding hard acceleration, heavy braking and deep lean angles until the surface release agent has worn off.
  • Increase pressure as specified by your motorcycle manufacturer when carrying a pillion or luggage, and never exceed the tyre's 86V load and speed rating.
  • Inspect regularly for cuts, bulges, embedded stones or nails and uneven or feathered wear, and replace the tyre once the tread wear indicators are reached.
  • Clean with mild soap and water only; keep petrol, solvents, brake cleaner and silicone tyre dressings off the tread and sidewalls.
  • Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, extreme heat and electric motors or other sources of ozone.
  • Have any impact damage, puncture or run-flat incident assessed professionally before returning the tyre to service.
