The Bridgestone Exedra Max is a bias-ply rear tyre built for cruiser and touring machines, supplied here in 180/70H15 76H tubeless fitment. It was developed primarily around Japanese and American-style cruisers, where weight, straight-line stability and all-day comfort matter more than outright track pace.

Construction, tread pattern and compound are matched to deliver long-haul composure and mileage, so it suits riders covering serious distances two-up or loaded, as well as those commuting on a heavier bike. Check your owner's manual or existing tyre sidewall to confirm 180/70H15 is the correct rear size for your motorcycle before ordering.

  • Bias-ply construction developed for cruiser and touring motorcycles
  • Tubeless (TBL) type — suits tubeless-rated rims
  • Rear fitment in 180/70H15, load/speed rating 76H
  • Long-mileage compound aimed at reducing replacement frequency
  • Tread pattern designed to aid water evacuation for wet and dry grip
  • Belt package construction supports linear handling on heavy bikes and two-up riding
  • Tuned for straight-line stability and controllability on long-distance runs
  • Comfort-focused design intended to reduce rider fatigue when touring
  • One Bridgestone Exedra Max EM1 rear tyre (sold individually, unmounted)

  • Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using proper machinery — never attempt a hand-fit on a tubeless rim.
  • Fit only to a rim rated for tubeless use and in the correct size for 180/70H15; renew or service the valve when a new tubeless tyre is fitted.
  • Observe any rotation-direction arrow and fitment markings moulded into the sidewall.
  • Scrub the new tread in gently for the first ride or two — avoid hard acceleration, heavy braking and deep lean angles until the surface has worn in evenly.
  • Check and set cold inflation pressure to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommendation (found in the owner's manual or on the swingarm/chain-guard placard), and re-check at least fortnightly and before long rides.
  • Do not exceed the tyre's 76H load and speed rating, and account for pillion and luggage weight when setting pressures.
  • Inspect regularly for cuts, bulges, embedded objects, uneven wear and sidewall damage; replace the tyre if the carcass has been damaged or after any significant impact.
  • Measure remaining tread against the wear indicators and replace before reaching your state's minimum legal tread depth.
  • Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush; keep petrol, solvents, brake fluid and silicone tyre-shine products off the tread and sidewalls.
  • Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and hydrocarbons.
