The Bridgestone Exedra Max EM1R is a bias-ply rear tyre in 150/80-15 M/C 70H, built for cruiser and touring riders who cover long distances. It's a tubeless fitment developed around the demands of heavier machines, with construction, tread pattern and compounds chosen together to balance comfort, mileage and grip.
Designed primarily for Japanese-style cruisers, the Exedra Max targets straight-line stability and predictable handling, including when the bike is loaded or ridden two-up. The tread pattern and rubber compound work to move water clear of the contact patch, so wet-weather confidence doesn't come at the expense of tread life.
Sold individually as a rear tyre. Check your owner's manual or existing tyre sidewall to confirm this size suits your motorcycle.

- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician — bead seating and balancing require the correct equipment.
- Fit to a rim rated for tubeless use and in sound condition; replace or service the valve stem at the same time as the tyre.
- Observe the rotation direction marked on the sidewall and confirm this is a rear fitment before mounting.
- Ride gently through the initial run-in period, avoiding hard acceleration, heavy braking and deep lean angles until the surface has scrubbed in.
- Check and adjust inflation pressures cold, before riding, using the pressures specified in your motorcycle's owner's manual or on the swingarm/chain guard placard — never the maximum figure moulded into the sidewall.
- Inspect regularly for cuts, embedded objects, bulges, uneven wear and sidewall cracking, and have any damage assessed before riding.
- Replace the tyre before the tread reaches the legal minimum depth or the wear indicators in the tread grooves become flush with the surface.
- Adjust pressures and expectations when carrying a pillion or luggage, and allow extra warm-up time in cold or wet conditions.
- Clean with mild soap and water only; keep petrol, solvents, brake cleaner and tyre-shine dressings off the tread and sidewalls.
- Store unfitted tyres upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and chemicals.
