The Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX41R is a rear tyre for modern adventure and dual sport motorcycles, in the popular 130/80-17 tubeless fitment. It blends Bridgestone's Battlax road tyre know-how with block design and placement drawn from the Battlecross off-road range, giving a tread pattern built to work on dirt and gravel without giving up composure on the tarmac between trails.

With a roughly 40% on-road / 60% off-road bias, it suits riders who spend most of their time on unsealed roads and trails but still need to ride there and back on the blacktop. Bridgestone's focus with this pattern was off-road traction paired with durability, so the tyre holds its shape and grip through longer trips rather than being a short-lived knobby.

Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre fitter; a tubeless tyre must be mounted on a rim rated for tubeless use.
Check the sidewall for a rotation direction arrow and fit the tyre accordingly.
Only tyres stamped "USE TUBE ON TUBE TYPE RIM" on the sidewall may be run with an appropriate tube on tube-type rims — match the tube size and type to the tyre.
Scrub the tyre in gently for the first ride: avoid hard acceleration, heavy braking and full lean angles until the new-tyre surface finish has worn off and the tread blocks have settled.
Set and check cold inflation pressures to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommendation on the placard or in the owner's manual, and re-check regularly — pressure has a large effect on wear, handling and off-road grip.
If you drop pressures for sand, mud or rocky terrain, be aware of the increased risk of the bead unseating or casing damage, and return to the recommended road pressures before riding on sealed roads.
Inspect the tyre before long rides for cuts, punctures, bulges, stones trapped between the tread blocks, and rounded or torn block edges; replace once the tread reaches the wear indicators.
Do not exceed the load and speed rating marked on the sidewall.
Clean with mild soap and water only — keep petrol, oils, solvents and tyre shine dressings off the tread and sidewalls.
Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, sharp objects and electric motors, which generate ozone that degrades rubber.
