The Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX41R is the rear tyre from Bridgestone's trail and adventure range, built for riders who spend more of their time off the bitumen than on it. Bridgestone rates the pattern at roughly 40% on-road / 60% off-road, so it is aimed squarely at modern adventure and dual-sport machines that still have to cover sealed kilometres between trails.

The AX41 pattern combines Bridgestone's Battlax road tyre knowledge with the block design and placement thinking behind its Battlecross off-road range. The result is a tread that is built to hold together and stay predictable on dirt, gravel and broken surfaces while remaining stable and durable on the tar ride home.

Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using proper mounting equipment and tyre lubricant — levering it on incorrectly can damage the bead and casing.
Observe the rotation direction and any fitment markings moulded into the sidewall when mounting.
This is a tubeless (TL) tyre for tubeless rims. Only where the sidewall is stamped "USE TUBE ON TUBE TYPE RIM" may an appropriate tube be fitted for use on a tube-type rim.
Set and check pressures when the tyre is cold, using the pressures specified by your motorcycle's manufacturer for your load and riding conditions.
If you drop pressures for sand, mud or rocky trails, reinflate to the recommended road pressures before returning to sealed roads — running low on the tar increases heat, casing stress and rapid wear.
Scrub in a new tyre gently over the first ride, avoiding hard braking, acceleration and full lean angles until the tread surface has bedded in.
Inspect regularly for cuts, punctures, stones wedged between the tread blocks and any torn, chunked or unevenly worn blocks; remove lodged debris and have damage assessed before riding.
Replace the tyre before the tread reaches the moulded wear indicators or the legal minimum tread depth, and replace any tyre that has been run flat or repaired outside the manufacturer's guidance.
Clean with mild soap and water only. Keep petrol, oils, solvents and silicone-based tyre shine off the tread and sidewalls.
Store unfitted tyres upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, away from heat sources and away from electric motors that generate ozone.
