Description

The Brembo RCS Type Folding Clutch Lever (part B-110B01285) is a replacement clutch lever made in the style of Brembo's RCS controls. As a folding lever, the blade pivots at its mount rather than sitting rigid — the usual reason riders choose this style over a fixed lever.

It suits riders replacing a damaged or worn clutch lever, or tidying up the cockpit on a sportsbike. Our records list fitment across selected Honda CBR1000RR, CBR1000RR SP and CBR1000RR SP2 models. Please confirm your exact model and year with us before ordering, as the fitment list we hold may not be complete and lever fitment is master-cylinder specific.

Key Features

  • Folding clutch lever in Brembo's RCS style
  • Clutch-side lever — supplied for the clutch control, not the brake
  • Brembo part number B-110B01285
  • Listed fitment covers selected Honda CBR1000RR, CBR1000RR SP and SP2 models

Operations & maintenance

Confirm the lever suits your exact model, year and clutch master cylinder before fitting — lever fitment is master-cylinder specific.
Fit the lever with the correct pivot bolt and any bushes or spacers, and torque fasteners to the master cylinder manufacturer's specification. Do not overtighten the pivot, or the folding action will bind.
With the bike stationary, check the lever pulls smoothly through its full travel, returns fully under its own spring pressure, and that the clutch disengages and re-engages cleanly before riding.
Check the folding action moves freely and snaps back to the riding position. Never set off with the lever left folded.
Turn the bars to full lock in both directions and check the lever clears the fairing, screen, bar ends and tank.
Re-check the pivot and clamp fasteners after the first ride, then periodically as part of routine maintenance.
Keep the pivot clean and apply a light smear of a suitable grease at the pivot point so the fold and lever action stay smooth.
Wash with mild soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry. Avoid brake cleaner, degreasers and other harsh solvents on the lever finish.
After any fall, drop or contact with the road, inspect the lever and pivot closely for bends, cracks or a sloppy fold and replace it if there is any doubt — do not attempt to straighten a bent lever.
