- Always torque fasteners to the values specified in your model's service manual — do not rely on feel alone.
- Apply thread-locking compound (e.g. Loctite) to fasteners as specified by the OEM service manual for your model.
- Inspect all reinstalled fasteners after the first ride following a rebuild; retorque as needed.
