The Bolt Motorcycle Hardware Drain Plug Washer Service Kit is a workshop assortment of soft-tempered crush washers, supplied in both copper and aluminium across a spread of common metric sizes. The washers are made to deform under torque so they conform to the sealing faces of a drain plug or banjo fitting and hold fluid in.

It suits home mechanics and workshops that service more than one machine and would rather have the right washer on the shelf than chase one mid-job. Because crush washers are a one-use item, keeping a stocked assortment means an oil change or a brake line refit is never held up by a single missing part.

Sizes are grouped by material and include dedicated banjo sizes for hydraulic fittings. Refill packs of 50 are available separately in either aluminium or copper.

Match the replacement washer to the original in both size and material — copper for copper, aluminium for aluminium — as the two crush differently.
Treat crush washers as single-use: fit a fresh washer every time the drain plug or banjo bolt is removed, rather than reusing a washer that has already been compressed.
Wipe the sealing faces of the sump, drain plug or banjo fitting clean before fitting a new washer, so grit or old sealant does not sit in the joint.
Tighten the plug or bolt to the torque figure given in your machine's service manual; the washer is designed to do the sealing, so overtightening to chase a leak will not help.
Check for weeping around the plug after the first heat cycle and again after the first ride.
Use the banjo sizes for hydraulic brake and clutch line fittings, and remember these need a washer on each side of the banjo unless the manual says otherwise.
Store the kit closed and in a dry place; copper and aluminium both oxidise, and a tarnished or corroded washer is less likely to seal cleanly.
Keep the sizes separated in their compartments so you are not guessing between the similar M10 sizes when the sump is already draining.
