Confirm fitment for your exact KTM model and year before fitting, as rear hub dimensions differ between models and production years.
Replace bearings and seals as a complete set rather than individually, and always replace both sides of the hub at the same time.
Clean the hub bores thoroughly and check for scoring, ovality or corrosion before pressing in new bearings.
Drive or press bearings squarely on the outer race only — never apply force through the inner race or balls.
Fit seals with the lip facing outward and pack the seal lips with grease to help exclude water and grit.
Torque the axle to the figure specified in your KTM service manual; over-tightening can preload and destroy new bearings.
