The SUN-F A051 is an all-terrain tyre built for small ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides and mini trucks, supplied here in the 18x7.00-7 size for 7-inch rims. It is a direct replacement fitment for many machines running this size, whether the bike is used for property work, trail riding or general paddock duties.

An aggressive angled-knob tread with deep lugs and pronounced shoulder blocks gives it bite across dirt, mud, sand and rocky ground, while the heavy-duty compound and 6-ply rated tubeless casing are aimed at riders who need durability over long stints of rough use.

Sold as a single tyre, so order the quantity you need for your axle or full set.

  • Have the tyre fitted by a qualified tyre technician to a clean, undamaged tubeless-compatible 7-inch rim; use proper tyre-mounting lubricant rather than oil or grease, which can degrade rubber.
  • Check that the bead has seated evenly all the way around both rim flanges before bringing the tyre to its final running pressure.
  • Set cold inflation pressure to the ATV or UTV manufacturer's specification for the fitted position, and never exceed the maximum pressure moulded on the tyre sidewall.
  • Check pressures with an accurate low-pressure gauge before each ride while the tyres are cold — small ATV tyres run at low pressures where even minor losses noticeably change handling.
  • The tread is non-directional, so the tyre can be mounted to rotate either way; still check for any positional or side markings on the sidewall before fitting.
  • Ride with restraint for the first outing on new tyres — the moulding release agent leaves the surface slick until it wears off.
  • After off-road use, inspect the tread and sidewalls for cuts, splits, embedded stones and thorns, and clear packed mud from between the lugs so the tread can work properly next ride.
  • Clean with water and a mild detergent only; keep petroleum-based solvents, degreasers and silicone tyre dressings away from the rubber.
  • Store spare tyres upright or flat in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from electric motors, which generate ozone that cracks rubber.
  • Retire the tyre when the lugs are worn low, the casing cords are visible, or the sidewall is cut or bulging; have any puncture assessed and repaired by a professional rather than relying on a temporary sealant.
