The Alpinestars Supertech M10 (S-M10) is the brand's flagship motocross and off-road helmet, and this is the Jett Lawrence R01 colourway in glossy purple with fluro pink and fluro yellow. It is built for motocross, supercross, enduro and trail riders who want race-level protection without carrying unnecessary weight.

Alpinestars' helmet development team set out to balance ventilation, comfort and low weight in a shell that gives nothing away on safety. The profile is deliberately smooth and free of external channels or add-ons that could catch during a crash, with surface curvature that encourages the helmet to deflect and spread impact energy rather than transmit it straight to the skull, neck and spine.

• Alpinestars states the S-M10 exceeds ECE 22.06 regular-speed linear impact limits by an average of 46%, low- and high-speed peak linear acceleration limits by 23% and 28%, and the peak rotational acceleration limit by 76%

Measure your head circumference at the widest point above the brow and check it against the Alpinestars size chart before riding; with six sizes across four shell sizes, the correct size should be snug with no pressure points and no movement when you shake your head.
Set the A-Head Fitment System first: adjust the angle and height the helmet sits on your head so the eye port lines up with your goggles and the chin bar clears your collarbone.
Remove the comfort liner and cheek pads for washing; hand-wash in lukewarm water with a mild soap, rinse thoroughly and air dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Do not machine dry.
Clean the shell with lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid petrol, solvents, ammonia-based cleaners and abrasives, which can damage the gloss paint, the shell resin and the MIPS low-friction layer.
Clear mud and dust from the 28 intake and exhaust ports after each ride so airflow is not blocked; a soft brush or low-pressure water is sufficient. Avoid high-pressure washers.
Refit the removable side pads correctly after cleaning - they are part of the impact-spreading design, not a comfort extra.
Leave the Eject removal base in place so trained trackside or medical responders can use it; it is not intended for everyday removal.
Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry place, off the ground and away from sunlight, fuel and exhaust fumes. Never hang it on a mirror or handlebar.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if there is no visible damage - the EPS and composite shell absorb energy by deforming and will not perform the same way twice.
Do not paint, apply solvent-based stickers, drill or otherwise modify the shell, as this can weaken the composite structure and voids its certification.
