Alpinestars Bionic Plasma LT Protection Vest Black White

The Alpinestars Bionic Plasma LT Protection Vest is an off-road body armour vest built around removable Nucleon PLASMA back and chest protectors. Instead of a rigid shell, the protectors use a pliable viscoelastic structure that moulds to the body, so impact coverage comes without the bulk and restriction of traditional armour.

The chassis is a breathable stretch mesh base layer with abrasion-resistant textile over the protector pockets, and an offset side zipper keeps the closure clear of the ribs. Additional PLASMA padding across the upper arms, collarbone and abdomen adds roost coverage where dirt riders take the most debris.

Suited to motocross, enduro, trail and adventure riders who want certified chest and back protection they can wear under a jersey or jacket all day. Finished in black/white and available in sizes S to 2XL.

Remove the Nucleon PLASMA back and chest protectors from their pockets before washing the vest.
Wash the vest chassis gently in cool water with a mild detergent; avoid bleach, solvents and fabric softeners, which can degrade the stretch mesh.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry or iron the protectors — wipe them over with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let them dry naturally.
Dry the vest and protectors away from direct sunlight and direct heat sources such as heaters, exhausts or dryers.
Refit the protectors fully into their pockets and check they sit flat and centred over the spine and sternum before riding.
Wear the vest snug against the body, over a base layer if preferred, so the protectors stay in position during a crash.
Zip the offset side closure fully and engage the YKK zipper lock so it cannot work loose while riding.
Store flat or on a hanger in a cool, dry place; avoid leaving it compressed, folded hard or in a hot vehicle, as heat and pressure can distort the viscoelastic protectors.
Inspect the protectors, pockets, seams and zipper regularly, and replace any protector that has taken a significant impact or shows cracking, tearing or permanent deformation.
Rinse off mud and dust after riding rather than letting it dry into the mesh, and allow the vest to dry completely before storing.
