Inspect the lanyard before every ride for signs of fraying, cuts, discolouration, or deformation — replace immediately if any damage is found.
Keep the lanyard free from contact with fuels, lubricants, and solvents, which can degrade the material.
Wipe clean with a dry or lightly damp cloth; do not submerge or machine wash.
Store away from direct sunlight and extreme heat to prevent UV and thermal degradation.
Do not knot, kink, or tie off the lanyard in a way that creates permanent creasing.
Replace the lanyard as directed by Alpinestars or your system's service guidelines after any activation event.
