The Arrowhead SMU6075 is a replacement starter relay solenoid — the heavy-duty switch that carries battery current through to the starter motor when the start button is pressed. Solenoids are a common wear item, and a failing one typically shows up as a single click with no crank, intermittent starting, or no response at all.
It is intended for riders and workshops replacing a worn or failed factory solenoid, and is supplied ready to fit. This is a replacement for a specific original part rather than a universal fitting.
Please confirm fitment against the part number on your existing solenoid before ordering. This part is catalogued under more than one application and our supersession records carry both Suzuki and Yamaha references — if you are unsure, send us your model, year and OE part number and we will check it for you.

- Confirm fitment by comparing the part number on your existing solenoid before installation.
- Disconnect the battery negative terminal before removing or fitting the solenoid.
- Photograph or label the cable positions before disconnecting so the battery and starter-motor leads go back on the correct terminals.
- Clean the cable eyelets and terminals before refitting; a poor connection generates heat and mimics solenoid failure.
- Tighten terminal nuts firmly but do not over-tighten — the studs strip easily.
- Refit any factory terminal covers, rubber boots or mounting holders; the rubber holder isolates the unit from vibration.
- Use only 20A fuses as supplied — fitting a higher rating removes the circuit protection.
- A light smear of dielectric grease on the terminals helps resist corrosion in wet conditions.
- Avoid directing pressure-washer spray at the solenoid, its connectors or the fuse holder.
- If the solenoid clicks but the engine will not crank, check battery charge and cable connections before condemning the unit.
- The solenoid is not a serviceable item — replace it rather than attempting an internal repair.
