The Arrow central link pipe (part 71719MI) replaces the standard catalytic mid-section on the KTM 790 and 890 Duke and Adventure, the Husqvarna Norden 901 and the CFMOTO 800 MT. It is built from INOX stainless steel and is designed to sit between the standard headers/collector and the silencer, so it can be run with an Arrow slip-on or with the original silencer retained.

It suits riders who want to shed the weight and restriction of the standard catalyst section while keeping the rest of the exhaust system as-is, and it is a common first step for owners planning to add an Arrow slip-on later. Confirm your exact model, variant and year against the fitment list before ordering — the 790 and 890 Duke and Adventure use different silencer and link pipe combinations across model years.
Only work on the exhaust when the system is completely cold, and support the silencer so it cannot drop while the central section is removed.
Inspect the exhaust gaskets, springs and clamps as you go and renew any that are distorted, flattened or corroded; reusing tired sealing rings is the most common cause of joint leaks.
After fitting, run the bike up to temperature, let it cool, then re-check all clamps, springs and hanger fasteners — joints commonly settle after the first heat cycle.
Re-check the exhaust joints and mounts periodically, particularly after off-road riding or fitting luggage or panniers that load the rear of the system.
Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly; avoid abrasive pads, steel wool and acidic wheel cleaners, which will pit stainless steel.
Remove oil, grease and fingerprints before the first ride, as they bake into the surface once the pipe gets hot.
Heat tinting or a gold/blue tint near the welds and hottest sections is normal for stainless steel and is not a defect.
Never hose or spray cold water onto a hot pipe, and let the system cool before washing the bike.
