- Inflate to the tyre pressure specified by your ATV manufacturer — do not exceed the maximum rated pressure for your tyre.
- Apply tyre mounting lubricant (soap solution or dedicated tyre lube) to the tube and tyre bead before installation to prevent tearing during fitment.
- Ensure the tube is not twisted or pinched between the tyre and rim when seating the tyre — a pinched tube will fail quickly under load.
- Inspect the inside of the tyre for embedded debris, sharp edges, or damage before fitting a new tube, as these will cause repeat punctures.
- After fitting, inflate the tube partially, check alignment, then inflate to the correct pressure.
- Store unused tubes in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (such as electric motors), and petroleum products, which degrade rubber over time.
- Inspect valve stem condition regularly; replace the valve core if you notice slow air loss from the stem.
- If repairing a puncture, use a tube repair kit suitable for ATV inner tubes and follow the patch manufacturer's instructions for surface preparation and cure time.
