The Argon SNK-R is a slim-profile sports riding boot built for road and track-day riders who want a close, connected feel at the controls. Its refined silhouette sits neatly under leathers or sports pants, while the breathable microfibre upper and high-performance mesh panels keep weight and bulk down.

The standout is the A-TOP dial fastening system: turning the dial draws a light but strong cable through the lacing, wrapping the boot evenly around the foot for a snug, repeatable fit that can be adjusted in seconds with gloves on. Latex and EVA foam reinforcement adds protection through the ankle and shin, and a rubber sole handles grip on the peg and on foot.

Fit the boot with the A-TOP dial fully released, then turn the dial in small increments until the wrap is snug but not tight over the instep — check the fit again after a few kilometres.
Release the dial before pulling the boot off rather than forcing the heel out, which puts strain on the cable and lace guides.
Keep the dial and cable path free of grit; brush out dust and road debris so the mechanism keeps turning freely.
Wipe the microfibre upper with a soft damp cloth and mild soap, then let it dry naturally — avoid solvents, petrol, strong detergents and abrasive brushes.
The upper is water-resistant, not waterproof; expect water in through the mesh in sustained rain and allow the boots to dry fully afterwards.
Dry at room temperature away from direct heaters, exhausts and sunlight, as forced heat can harden the upper and damage bonded components.
Remove the insock between rides to air the interior and reduce moisture build-up.
Store in a cool, dry place, upright and unpacked, so the shafts hold their shape.
Check the sole, stitching, cable and ankle and shin reinforcement regularly, and retire the boots after a crash or once the protective structure is damaged or the sole is worn smooth.
