The Argon Angel is a women's-specific leather riding jacket built around genuine tear-resistant goat leather, cut in an understated black with metal buttons and hardware. It's aimed at riders who want a classic, casual-looking jacket that still carries proper armour underneath — equally at home on a naked bike, a cruiser or the daily commute.

A women's pattern with stretch panels through the sides shapes the fit without restricting movement, while buttoned neck and rear waist adjusters keep everything sitting where it should at speed. Inside there's a soft mesh liner, a neoprene phone pocket and Argon's waterproof Dry Pouch for a wallet or keys. CE Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors are fitted from new, with a back protector included and a CE Level 2 back protector available as an upgrade.

Check before every ride that the shoulder, elbow and back protectors are seated correctly in their pockets and have not shifted in storage.
Remove all armour and the back protector before cleaning the jacket or laundering the liner.
Clean the leather with a soft, damp cloth and a mild leather cleaner only — do not machine wash, tumble dry or dry-clean.
Avoid solvents, petrol, degreasers, bleach and household detergents on the leather, as they will strip the finish and weaken the hide.
Treat the leather periodically with a quality leather conditioner or dressing to keep it supple and resist drying out.
If the jacket gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature away from direct heat, radiators and sunlight; heat drying will shrink and harden the leather.
Expect a short break-in period — the leather and stretch panels will mould to your shape over the first few rides.
Store on a wide, shaped hanger in a cool, dry, ventilated place rather than folded or compressed, so the panels keep their shape.
Keep the YKK metal zippers clean of grit and run a little zip lubricant or wax along the teeth occasionally so they stay smooth.
The Dry Pouch is the only waterproof pocket — keep phones, wallets and documents in it rather than the mesh-lined pockets in wet weather.
Inspect stitching, seams and zippers regularly, and retire or repair the jacket if seams have opened or the leather has been abraded in a crash.
