Arai VAS V PSS BROW Vent Kit

$9.95

A genuine Arai replacement brow vent kit for helmets built around the VAS-V shield system. Brow vents sit at the top of the visor aperture and are among the first parts to be lost or damaged — a knock in the garage, a dropped lid, or a vent that pops out on a ride is all it takes. This kit puts the original ventilation and finish back where it belongs.

Suited to Arai owners who want to keep their helmet in factory condition rather than living with a missing or cracked vent. Australian retailers list this part (AH104289) as the black brow vent for the Arai Profile-V.

Fitment varies between Arai models and shield-system generations, so check the part against your helmet's owner's manual or with us before ordering if you are unsure.

  • Check the part against your helmet's model and shield-system generation before fitting — Arai vent parts are not interchangeable across all models.
  • Follow the fitting sequence in your Arai owner's manual; refit the shield afterwards and confirm it opens, closes and seals normally.
  • After fitting, check the vent is seated evenly and held securely before riding, and re-check it after the first few rides.
  • Clean with warm water and a mild soap on a soft cloth, then dry with a clean microfibre.
  • Do not use petrol, thinners, benzine, ammonia-based glass cleaners or other solvents — they can attack the vent's plastic and the surrounding shell and shield.
  • Keep the vent openings clear of insects, road grime and dust so airflow is not restricted; a soft brush or a rinse with clean water is enough.
  • Store the helmet, and any spare vent, in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources such as exhausts or car parcel shelves.
  • Replace the vent rather than repairing it if it is cracked, distorted or missing tabs — a loose vent can detach at speed.
