Description

The Arai RX-7V EVO is the flagship of Arai's racing programme — handmade in Japan by a three-generation family company of riders, and the helmet Arai's highest-level track and road research is built around. The Rush graphic is presented here in blue.

It carries Arai's core protective philosophy: a rounder, smoother, stronger shell designed to glance off and spread impact energy rather than catch it. The Variable Axis System lowers the visor mechanism so the shell stays smooth through the critical upper area, and the RX-7V EVO is homologated to the more demanding ECE 22.06 standard.

Suited to sport and track riders, and to road riders who want a race-bred full-face with an interior that can be tuned, removed and washed. This listing is for size Small.

Operations & maintenance

Always fasten the Double-D ring correctly before riding — thread the strap through both rings and pull the free end snug so no more than a finger fits under the chinstrap.
Remove the cheek pads, liner, neckroll and chinstrap covers and hand wash them in lukewarm water with a mild soap; rinse well and air dry away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Clean the outer shell and visor with lukewarm water and mild soap on a soft cloth only. Never use petrol, thinners, benzene, ammonia-based glass cleaner or other solvents — they can damage the shell, the visor coating and the vent components.
Soak off bugs and road grime with a damp cloth laid over the shell rather than scrubbing dry dirt across the paint or visor.
If a Pinlock insert is fitted, handle it by the edges and wipe gently with a damp soft cloth — the anti-fog face is a soft coating and scratches easily.
Do not paint the shell or apply adhesive stickers, tapes or solvent-based cleaners to it, as these can weaken the composite.
Check the visor latch, VAS side pods and vent sliders periodically and make sure the side covers are fully clicked home after refitting a visor.
Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, heat and fuel or exhaust fumes; never hang it on a mirror stalk, indicator or handlebar end, and do not rest it on the seat where it can fall.
An interior that has packed down can be re-tuned with the 5 mm peel-away cheek, ear and temple pads, or by fitting different thickness replacement pads.
Replace the helmet after any impact, even if no damage is visible, and replace a visor that is scratched enough to distort vision at night.
