The Arai Helmet Bag is a heavily padded carry bag built to keep your helmet protected between rides. Padding runs right around the bag, so the shell, visor and vents are shielded from knocks, scuffs and dust whether the helmet is riding in a car boot, going into the pits, or sitting on a shelf at home.
It is sized generously enough to take the largest helmets in the Arai range, including peaked models such as the motocross VX-Pro4 and the adventure XD-4 — simply turn the helmet around to seat the peak inside. A large moulded handle makes it comfortable to carry over longer distances, and padded shoulder straps are stowed in their own zippered compartment when you would rather carry it by hand.
Suits road, adventure and off-road riders, track day regulars and anyone who travels with a helmet and wants it to arrive in the same condition it left in.

- Make sure the helmet is completely dry before bagging it — sealing a damp helmet in padding encourages odour and mould in the liner.
- Seat peaked helmets such as the VX-Pro4 or XD-4 by turning the helmet around so the peak sits inside the bag rather than forcing the zip closed.
- Close the zip fully and carry by the moulded handle for short trips, or deploy the padded shoulder straps for longer walks and hands-free carrying.
- Tuck the shoulder straps back into their zippered compartment when not in use so they cannot snag on luggage, bike parts or pit equipment.
- Avoid packing hard items such as tools, locks or cameras alongside the helmet — they can press into the visor or shell inside the bag.
- Spot clean the outer fabric with a soft cloth, warm water and mild soap, then air dry it fully; do not machine wash, tumble dry or use solvents, petrol or harsh cleaners.
- Store the bag loosely in a cool, dry place out of prolonged direct sunlight, and leave it unzipped or open when storing a helmet long term so moisture can escape.
- The bag is padded for knocks and scuffs during transport and storage; it is not impact protection, so do not treat a bagged helmet as safe to drop or sit on.
