The All Balls Racing Complete Carburetor Rebuild Kit (SKU 26-1380) is a direct-replacement internal service kit designed to restore correct fuel delivery to the Yamaha YFM400 Kodiak ATV. It covers the 2WD Kodiak 400 (2003–2004) and the 4WD Kodiak 400 (2003–2006).

All Balls Racing engineers each rebuild kit to OEM dimensional tolerances, supplying the internal components most commonly worn or degraded by fuel varnish, age, and ethanol-blended fuels — making it a practical choice for owners who want to bring a sluggish or flooding carburettor back to factory specification without replacing the entire unit.

This kit suits home mechanics and professional workshop technicians working on the affected Kodiak models, and is an economical alternative to purchasing a new carburettor.

  • Exact fitment for Yamaha YFM400 Kodiak 2WD (2003–2004) and 4WD (2003–2006)
  • All Balls Racing SKU 26-1380 – engineered to OEM dimensional tolerances
  • Complete kit format supplies the wear items needed for a full carburettor rebuild in a single purchase
  • Designed to address common issues caused by ethanol-blended fuel, varnish deposits, and age-related seal degradation

  • Before beginning the rebuild, drain the fuel bowl completely and disconnect the fuel line to prevent spills.
  • Work in a clean, well-lit area and lay out all removed components in order to aid reassembly; a parts tray or clean rag is recommended.
  • Inspect the carburettor body, throttle slide bore, and float bowl for cracks or corrosion before fitting new internal components — a damaged body will not seal correctly regardless of kit quality.
  • Replace all O-rings and gaskets supplied in the kit even if some appear serviceable; reusing worn seals is a common cause of repeat fuel leaks.
  • Lubricate new O-rings lightly with clean petrol or carburettor-safe rubber grease before fitting to ease installation and prevent tearing.
  • Set float height to the Yamaha YFM400 service manual specification after fitting the new needle valve and seat; incorrect float height causes rich or lean running conditions.
  • After reassembly, turn the fuel tap on and check for leaks at the bowl and all joints before starting the engine.
  • Idle the ATV for several minutes after the rebuild and re-check for fuel weeps before riding.
  • If the machine has been stored with old fuel, flush the tank and lines with fresh fuel before starting — a clean rebuild kit will not overcome contaminated fuel.
  • Store any unused spare components from the kit in a sealed bag away from sunlight and heat to preserve rubber components.
