  • Wipe the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; never use solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaning products as these can damage the shell finish and graphics.
  • Clean the visor or any clear lens with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water; use only a plastic-safe cleaner to avoid micro-scratching.
  • Remove the inner lining and cheek pads before washing; hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry completely before reinserting — do not use a tumble dryer or direct heat source.
  • Inspect the D-ring closure regularly for signs of wear, corrosion or damage; do not use the helmet if the retention system is compromised.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and chemical exposure, ideally in a soft carry bag to protect the shell and visor.
  • After any significant impact — even when no external damage is visible — retire the helmet immediately, as the EPS liner may have absorbed energy and can no longer provide rated protection.
  • Do not apply non-approved paints, adhesives or aftermarket stickers to the shell, as these may chemically weaken the structure or void any applicable certification.
