A genuine AGV replacement visor for the K1, K1 S, K3 SV and K5 S in the smaller shell size range. The GT4-1 is moulded from optical-grade polycarbonate and carries an 80% tint, cutting glare and eye strain on bright days without the bulk of sunglasses under the helmet.

It's the straightforward fix for a scratched, hazed or pitted stock visor, and an easy way to keep a dark shield ready alongside your clear one. The wide 190° horizontal field of view preserves the peripheral vision the helmet was designed around, and the Max Pinlock-ready lens lets you add an anti-fog insert when the weather turns.

An 80% tint is a daytime shield. Fit your clear visor for night riding, tunnels and low light.

Check the shell size marked inside your helmet before ordering - this visor suits the XS-MS shell only, not the larger L-XXL shell.
Remove and refit using the helmet's standard visor mechanism; open the visor fully, release the side catches, lift the visor away, then seat the new visor and close the catches until they click on both sides.
Cycle the visor fully open and closed after fitting and confirm it seals evenly against the eyeport on both sides before riding.
Clean with lukewarm water and a mild soap only, using a soft microfibre cloth and light pressure; let dried insects and road grime soak first rather than rubbing them off.
Never use petrol, solvents, ammonia-based glass cleaners, abrasive pads or paper towel - these attack polycarbonate and destroy the anti-scratch and UV coatings.
Do not wipe a dry, dusty visor; grit dragged across the surface is the most common cause of scratching.
Keep the visor away from fuel vapour, exhaust heat and strong solvents, and don't leave the helmet on a hot tank or in a closed car in summer.
If you fit a Max Pinlock insert (sold separately), handle it by the edges, follow the pin-tensioning instructions, and clean the inner silicone-sealed side with water only.
Store the spare visor in a soft bag or the original sleeve, flat and out of direct sunlight, to avoid pressure marks and distortion.
Use this 80% tint in daylight only - swap to a clear visor for night, tunnel and low-light riding.
Replace the visor if it is deeply scratched, crazed, cracked or distorting your vision; scratches scatter light badly at night and cannot be polished out of a coated visor.
