Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth and mild soap and water; never use petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners, or petrol, as these can degrade the shell and paintwork.
Clean the visor with warm water and mild soap using a soft microfibre cloth; avoid dry-wiping, which can cause fine scratches that impair vision.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash them in lukewarm water with a mild detergent; allow to air-dry fully before refitting.
Fit a compatible Pinlock insert to the visor when riding in cold or wet conditions to minimise fogging.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and cleaning chemicals, which can degrade EPS foam integrity over time.
Do not apply stickers, paint, or adhesives directly to the shell, as solvents in adhesives can compromise the structural material.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact — even when no visible damage is present — as the EPS liner may have absorbed energy that is not externally apparent.
Familiarise yourself and your riding companions with the Emergency Release System (ERS) cheek pad tabs so that first responders can remove the helmet safely if required.
