The Alpinestars Ageless Tech Hoodie is a protective riding hoodie built for urban riding and commuting, where you want real abrasion resistance without looking like you're in full race kit. The knitted main shell keeps the look casual, while aramid reinforcement through the shoulders, sleeves and back adds slide protection where it counts.

An anatomically profiled cut keeps the fit close enough for riding without restricting movement, and removable Nucleon armour in the shoulders and elbows handles impact. Everyday details — a front pouch pocket, a hidden zippered hand pocket on the right side and a jersey-lined fixed hood — mean it still works as a hoodie once you're off the bike.

Remove the Nucleon shoulder and elbow protectors from their pockets before washing, and refit them once the hoodie is completely dry.
Follow the sewn-in care label for wash temperature and cycle — knitted shells and aramid reinforcement are best washed gently and cool.
Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, solvents and petrol-based cleaners, which can degrade the aramid reinforcement and the armour.
Wipe the protectors themselves with a damp cloth and mild soap only; do not machine wash or tumble dry them.
Dry flat or on a hanger away from direct sunlight and heat sources; high heat can shrink the knit and distort the armour.
Before each ride, check the protectors are seated flat in their pockets and sit over the shoulder and elbow joints once the hoodie is zipped up.
The knitted shell is not waterproof or windproof — layer a shell over the top in wet or cold conditions.
Inspect the hoodie and armour after any crash or heavy impact; replace protectors that are cracked, deformed or compressed, and retire the garment if the shell or reinforcement is torn through.
Store on a hanger in a cool, dry place rather than folded under weight, so the armour keeps its shape.
