Bolt the stand down to a solid, flat floor with the supplied mounting hardware before loading a motorcycle into it — never use it free-standing.
Adjust the wheel cradle to suit your front tyre before first use, and re-check it if you swap to a bike with a different tyre size or width.
Ride or walk the bike in slowly and squarely so the front wheel seats fully into the cradle.
Always add tie-down straps once the bike is in the stand; the stand holds the bike upright but is not a complete transport restraint on its own.
Check the mounting bolts and any adjustment fasteners for tightness before each trip, as trailer vibration can loosen them over time.
Rinse off road salt, mud and grime with fresh water and allow to dry; the galvanised finish resists corrosion but benefits from being kept clean.
Touch up any deep scratches or chips that expose bare metal to keep corrosion from taking hold.
Keep the cradle and floor area clear of gravel, oil and debris so the tyre can seat properly.
Do not exceed the capability of the floor it is mounted to — make sure the trailer or van floor and fixings are strong enough for the load.
