The All Balls Racing 38-6134 Fork Bushing Kit is a complete front fork bush replacement package, supplying the bushings and small sealing parts needed for a fork rebuild in a single part number rather than sourcing each piece separately.

It suits riders and workshops refreshing tired front suspension — worn bushings show up as stiction, sticky fork action, knocking under brakes or repeat seal failures. All Balls Racing produces these kits to service standards intended to cover everything from daily road use through to racing.

Fork bushings are size-specific: please confirm part number 38-6134 is listed for your exact make, model and year before ordering.

  • Confirm part number 38-6134 is listed for your exact make, model and year before fitting — fork bushings are dimension-specific and will not fit across fork sizes.
  • Support the bike securely with the front wheel off the ground before dismantling; forks hold spring pressure and oil, so release preload and drain oil in a controlled way.
  • Work on a clean bench and keep the new bushings in their packaging until you are ready to fit them — grit trapped between a bushing and the fork tube causes rapid wear.
  • Inspect the fork tubes for scoring, pitting or chrome damage while the forks are apart; new bushings will not compensate for a damaged tube.
  • Handle the bushings by the edges and avoid scratching or gouging the low-friction coating on the bearing surface.
  • Fit the new copper washers and O-rings supplied in the kit rather than reusing the originals.
  • Use a proper fork seal/bush driver to seat the bushings and seals squarely — do not lever or hammer them home directly.
  • Seat both snap rings fully into their grooves and check they are square before refitting the dust seals.
  • Refill with the fork oil type, quantity and level specified by the motorcycle manufacturer, then cycle the forks to bleed trapped air.
  • Service both fork legs at the same time so damping and stiction remain even side to side, and check for leaks after the first ride and again after a few hundred kilometres.
