Quality design and construction: This rear shock seal head kit meets the toughest standards and conditions - from daily commuting to full-on racing.
Features:
- Made from 6061-T6 aluminium to save weight.
- Features an air bleed hole. This helps remove air from the oil reservoir during seal head installation.
- The oil seal utilises a double lip design and a low-friction elastomer. This gives the seal head additional dirt exclusion and yet maintains a low-drag (low-friction) seal.
- The dust seal utilises a spring-type exclusion seal to maintain constant pressure and ensure good dirt and contaminant exclusion over the life of the seal head.

- Thoroughly clean and degrease the shock body and shaft before beginning the rebuild to prevent contamination of new seals.
- Inspect the shock shaft and housing for scoring, corrosion, or deep scratches before fitting new seals — damaged surfaces will cause premature seal failure.
- Lubricate new seals lightly with compatible shock fluid or clean grease before installation; never fit seals dry.
- Do not reuse old seals or O-rings — replace all components supplied in the kit during each rebuild.
- Use the correct shock oil type and fill volume as specified in your motorcycle's service manual.
- Torque all retaining hardware and the seal head to the manufacturer's specified torque values; avoid over-tightening.
- After reassembly, cycle the suspension through its full travel several times and check for fluid weeping before returning the motorcycle to service.
- Dispose of old seals and used shock fluid in accordance with your local council or environmental regulations.
