Description

The All Balls Racing 24-2025 Crank Shaft Seal Kit is a set of replacement crankshaft oil seals for engine rebuilds and leak repairs. The seals are made to match OE dimensions so they drop into the original seal bores and seat correctly in the cases.

Each seal uses a double lip design with a PTFE contact area, which helps it cope with dry start conditions and reduces wear on the crankshaft sealing surface. Supplying the seals as a set means the crank can be sealed on both sides in one job rather than chasing individual part numbers.

Suited to home mechanics and workshops splitting cases or replacing weeping crank seals. Part fitment varies by make, model and year — please confirm 24-2025 suits your engine before ordering.

Operations & maintenance

Confirm the 24-2025 part number suits your make, model and year before fitting — crank seal dimensions differ between engines.
Inspect the crankshaft sealing surface for scoring, grooves or corrosion before installing new seals; a worn shaft will leak past even a new seal.
Clean the seal bores in the cases thoroughly and remove all old sealant and debris.
Lightly lubricate the seal lips with clean engine oil before installation so they are not run dry on first start.
Note the orientation of the old seal (which way the lip faces) and fit the new seal the same way.
Press the seal in square using a correctly sized seal driver or socket that bears on the outer metal case — do not strike the seal lip or spring directly.
Avoid stretching or rolling the lip over sharp shaft edges or keyways; use a seal protector or tape over the edge where needed.
Replace crank seals as a set whenever the cases are split rather than reusing one side.
Store unused seals flat in their packaging, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and solvents, to protect the rubber.
After assembly, run the engine to temperature and check both seal areas for weeping before returning the bike to regular use.
