Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water on a soft cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners or petrol, as these can degrade the shell finish and liner foams.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash separately with mild detergent; allow to air-dry fully before reinstalling — never use a clothes dryer or direct heat.
Inspect the ODS elastomeric dampers and inner liner mounting points periodically for visible wear, cracking or deformation; have the helmet assessed by a dealer if you notice any degradation.
Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — the ODS system and EPS liner may be compromised in ways that are not apparent.
Do not store the helmet in direct sunlight, high-heat environments (such as inside a closed vehicle in summer) or in contact with petrochemicals, as prolonged exposure degrades foam and shell materials.
Store the helmet in its bag or a padded container to protect the shell and visor peak from scratching during transport.
Follow the manufacturer's sizing guide and fit the helmet snugly; the ODS system functions correctly only when the helmet is properly fitted and the retention system is fastened.
