Check tyre pressure before every ride using a calibrated gauge; the correct pressure depends on your specific bike and load — consult your motorcycle's owner's manual.
Allow a break-in period of approximately 100 km on new tyres to remove mould-release compound before riding at full lean angle or maximum performance.
Inspect the tread surface and sidewalls regularly for cuts, punctures, embedded objects, cracking, or abnormal wear.
Replace the tyre when tread depth reaches the legal minimum of 1.6 mm across the central three-quarters of the tread width, or when wear indicators become flush with the tread.
Do not exceed the rated maximum load index of 87 (545 kg) or operate continuously above the V speed rating (240 km/h).
Never mix radial and bias-ply tyres on the same motorcycle; always fit tyres appropriate to the wheel and bike specification.
