Description

The Eurogrip Trailhound Wild is an adventure tyre built for big-capacity bikes and long distances, developed to work across sealed roads, dirt and everything in between. It uses new-generation polymer compounds, a multi-zone tread and a purpose-designed tread pattern to suit riders who mix highway kilometres with gravel and trail sections.

This is the 150/70 R17 rear fitment in a tubeless construction with a 69V load and speed index. It suits road-focussed adventure and dual-purpose machines running the 150/70-17 rear size, and pairs with the matching Trailhound Wild front for a balanced set.

The Trailhound Wild range was unveiled by Eurogrip at EICMA 2025 in Milan.

Operations & maintenance

Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre fitter using correct tools and rim protection; do not attempt bead-seating without proper equipment.
Check that the size, load index and speed rating (150/70 R17 69V) meet or exceed your motorcycle manufacturer's specification before fitting.
Observe the tyre's rotation direction marking and fit it to the rear wheel only.
Scrub in new tyres gently for the first period of riding, avoiding hard acceleration, heavy braking and deep lean angles until the surface has keyed in.
Check and adjust inflation pressures cold, at least fortnightly and before long rides, using the pressures listed in your motorcycle's owner's manual or on the swingarm/chain-guard placard.
Inspect regularly for cuts, embedded stones or nails, bulges, uneven wear and tread depth, and replace the tyre if damage or the wear indicators are reached.
Do not exceed the load or speed rating of the tyre, and reduce speed on wet, loose or gravel surfaces.
Use a tube only if the wheel and tyre combination is rated for it; consult a professional fitter about the suitability of repairs to a damaged tyre.
Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush; avoid tyre-shine dressings, solvents and petroleum-based products on the tread.
Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and fuels or oils.
