The Michelin Enduro Medium 2 is the brand's current-generation enduro rear tyre, built for riders who cover mixed terrain in a single day rather than one perfect surface. This 140/80-18 70R fitment is a tube-type (TT) rear for standard 18-inch enduro and trail bikes.

Michelin's Adaptive Design places and shapes the tread blocks differently across the central, intermediate and lateral zones, so the tyre keeps working as conditions shift from soft to hard and from mud to dry. A revised casing adds precision on hard-packed ground while taking the edge off sharp impacts, and the V-shaped block pattern is designed to hold grip well into the tyre's life rather than falling away once the edges round off.

Suited to enduro, trail and off-road competition use, and FIM approved for events that require it.

Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre fitter using correct tyre levers or a fitting machine — incorrect fitting can damage the bead and the inner tube.
This is a tube type (TT) tyre and must be run with an inner tube; fit a new tube of the correct size and check the rim tape and rim lock at the same time.
Check and set pressures cold, before riding, using the pressure recommended by your motorcycle manufacturer for the terrain and load you are running.
Inspect the sidewall for any fitting direction or rotation markings and mount the tyre accordingly.
Ride with restraint for the first few kilometres so the new tread can scrub in and the release agent wears off the surface.
Do not exceed the tyre's ratings: 335 kg maximum load (index 70) and 170 km/h maximum speed (rating R).
Inspect regularly for cuts, torn or missing knobs, embedded debris and exposed carcass, and replace the tyre if any of these are found.
After riding in mud or sand, wash the tyre and wheel with water and a soft brush; avoid petrol, solvents and tyre dressings, which can degrade the rubber.
Re-check pressures and spoke tension after the first ride following fitment, and periodically afterwards.
Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, fuels and oils.
