The Michelin Power Shift in 120/70 R 15 56H is a tubeless radial front tyre built for maxi-scooters. It aims to bring a more motorcycle-like feel to scooter riding, with grip and steering response intended to stay predictable as speeds and cornering loads build.

It suits riders who commute year-round and want confidence in the wet as well as the dry. The tread pattern uses Michelin's Water Evergrip Technology sipes, drawn from the brand's high-powered motorcycle tyre work, to help maintain wet-weather performance as the tyre wears.

Michelin also positions this generation as a longer-lasting option, with a high-tech compound rated for 15% more tyre life than the previous version, which means fewer replacements over the life of the scooter.

Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician using proper machinery — do not attempt roadside or home fitting on a radial tyre.
Fit only to a rim in sound condition that is approved for tubeless use and matched to the 15-inch, 120/70 size.
Check the sidewall markings before fitting and observe the front-fitment and any rotation-direction markings.
Ride gently for the first distance after fitting, avoiding hard braking and deep lean angles, until the tread surface has scuffed in.
Check cold tyre pressures at least fortnightly and before longer rides, setting them to the pressure specified by your scooter's manufacturer for the load being carried.
