Description

Are they cotton reels or spindle sliders? Well they are both really!! These new style offset cotton reels were designed to overcome the problem with the Kawasaki ZX10-R ’04 onwards fitted with the standard exhaust/can as our traditional style cotton reels may foul the exhaust under extreme suspension travel conditions (see CR0005BK which can still be fitted for the ZX-10R ’04-'10 if the standard exhaust/can is replaced). Also fits the Kawasaki ZX10-R '04 to '10 models. The Cotton Reel is mounted to a special, black-anodised aluminium bracket (included with the kit), bringing the Cotton Reel away from the exhaust silencer. The product will give protection to the swingarm area in most crashes. Also the bike can be lifted on the Cotton Reels, using a paddock stand with hooks (suggest R&G code SH0001). For rear wheel removal, you can take the Cotton Reels out of the aluminium blocks and insert them into the paddock stand bobbin screw holes.
